YOUR HORMONES AND FERTILITY TO TRACK YOUR OVULATION
Either a woman is ovulating or not is predicated on the effectiveness and efficiency of the hormones. Your ovulation is not independent of the general wellbeing of your hormones. So before you can start worrying yourself about your ovulation, you must first be sure your hormones are in order. The ovulation period of a woman is that season in a month that her body is receptive to fertilization. This is the period she can get pregnant. This period is very critical to every woman that is looking forward to the fruit of the womb. You have to know also that, ovulation is a combination of several activities, which is in direct response to your hormones during this period. Just a sign is not enough to conclude that you are ovulating
:
How to track your ovulation!
The ovulation period of a woman is statistically between the 13th and the 17th day after the last menstrual period, (LMP). What you do is to count one to thirteen from the date of your menses. For example, if you saw your menstruation on the first of the month, then your ovulation period will be between the 13th -17th day of the month, etc. The ovulation is a process that will climaxed with the release of a graffian follicle into the fallopian tube for fertilization.
There are five basic things you can notice without going to the lab, at home.
1. Your body temp will go up during this period.
2. The nipples of your breast will stand erect.
3. You feel more disposed to have sex during this period than other times. It is your 'heat' period as a woman.
4. You have a slurry discharges from your vagina.
5. You are likely to feel slight pains at the pelvic region.
These are physical signs that you can monitor yourself at home.
However, there are more to ovulation than the physical signs.
During this period, you must have follicles (eggs) in your ovary. There are two ovaries to every woman, and these ovaries works alternately every month. That means, if you produce eggs from your right ovary this month, it will shift to the left ovary the next month. If you can't monitor your follicles by yourself, just comment your cycle days and the last month your saw it, post it here for guidance.
