Most Common Causes Of Cervical Blockage.

Have you ever thought of checking your cervix or not incase it’s blocked or not? Cervix mal- position or blockage can greatly contribute to infertility in fact if care is not taken, a victim may need IVF or IUI before conception can take place which is still not πŸ’― guaranteed.

Cervical blockage is medically known as CERVICAL STENOSIS!

It’s occurs when the cervix becomes narrowed and unable to accept sperm cells into the womb cavity.

Immediately after ejaculation of sperm cells into the vagina cavity during sex, sperm cells are expected to swim up into the womb cavity via the cervical opening but due to the blockage, the sperm cells will retain in the vagina until they all die due to low PH or flush out again

The cause of cervical blockage are massive and this include chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, history of D&C, vagina infection cause by STDs, pregnancy and cervical cancer

There are many Unstated conditions that can also affect the cervix and increase the risk of stenosis

You can check if you have  stenosis by undergoing Hysterosalpingography test! Clinical examination in which speculum will be inserted to view the cervix can also be used to check if your cervix is narrow or not!

Other X ray such MRI and TVs can also be undergo to determine cervical stenosis! When cervix is being affected by the infection, it stops making fertile mucus discharge and stop accepting sperm cells from moving into your womb cavity!

There is no specific signs or symptoms to indicate cervical stenosis than when you find it difficult to get pregnant, the above tests will help in determining it

It can be treated according to the cause!

May God visit your household and bless your womb for multiple baby! Amen
