Why Hysterosalpingography TEST is important?
It’s quite unfortunate that some women refused to undergo this particular test just because some women who underwent it have informed them that it was painful!
If you are a GTC woman and haven’t done this particular test, definitely you haven’t done the necessary test! This particular test is not that painful if ANESTHETIC agent is given!
It’s a medication or injection using before surgical procedure or any procedure to Numb the sensation in some area of the body or to induce sleep!
Then also, Non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs NSAIDs will be given to numb pain sensation during the procedure! This drug is only available for a person that doesn’t have Gastro Esophageal reflux disease ( Gastric or deodenal ulcer or Heartburn)
This procedure can be done within 30 minutes! It’s painless if the necessary things are done to numb the pain sensation before undergoing it! It’s one of the best fertility tests to check the shape of the uterus and also, to check if the tubes are blocked or patent!
If having tube blockage, there is no specific signs or symptoms to know until Hysterosalpingography test is done!
It’s an x ray in which a contrast material ( dye) will be thread through a thin tube into your uterine cavity via the cervical then watch on the screen to see their movement demonstration! If this medium material (dye) is successfully flow through your Fallopian tube into your pelvic cavity, that means your tubes are open!
But if the contrast material ( dye) flows back to uterine cavity, that mean you have tube blockage even during the procedure, you will be having huge pain sensation and totally feel discomfort with the procedure! This means you have tube blockage
Hysterosalpingography x ray test is very important and it’s necessary to undergo it as GTC woman!
It’s not done to treat infertility! some women usually mistakenly it for this!! It’s usually done to check the shape, the length and for the tube blockage!
